Using our handmade soy wax melts is really easy. We've put together a simple 6-step guide on how to use them:

1. Order all of your favorite scents.
2. Open the wax melt package you want to use.
3. Place a segment of your wax melt into your tealight or electric burner.
4. Light a tealight and place it in your burner, or turn on your electric burner.
5. Sit back and relax as the wax melts and fills your home with your beautiful chosen aroma.
6. When you want to swap scents, pop the old wax melt out of your burner and repeat the above five easy steps.

All of our wax melts are made from high-quality soy wax. We chose this particular wax because it allows us to make high-quality wax melts with a beautiful and luxurious shiny finish. In addition, our wax melts offer an incredibly strong aroma when burned.

All of our scents are tested and evaluated by strict criteria to ensure that only the best scents are available from us. Through our testing, we have recorded burn times of over 80 hours when using the same wax melt around 3-4 times, but our customers have reported getting over 7 days of burn time and say they will never choose anyone else.

Are you frustrated that your wax melts don't fill your home with fragrance? There are two main reasons why this might happen:

1. Fragrance Burn-Off: If the fragrance is added to the melted wax when it's too hot, some of the scent can burn off during the manufacturing process. This results in a weaker, less fragrant wax melt.
2. Insufficient Fragrance: Some wax melts simply don't contain enough fragrance oil. This means less scent is released when the wax melts.

Wax melts are a fantastic way to fragrance your home, but it can be frustrating when the scent fades quickly. While it's natural for fragrance to weaken over time, there are several steps you can take to help maximise the lifespan of your wax melts

1. Burn Time and Temperature:

Use 4-Hour Tealights: If you use a tealight burner, we advise to only use 4-hour tealights. 8-hour tealights create a lot more heat, which can cause the fragrance to burn off faster and even overheat the wax, potentially damaging your burner.

Electric Burners: Electric burners offer more precise temperature control. If yours has settings, experiment to find the lowest setting that still effectively melts the wax and releases the fragrance. Lower heat generally means longer scent life.

2. Burner Choice:

Size Matters: The size and design of your wax melt burner play a role. Burners with a smaller wax melt well or are close to the heat source can cause the fragrance to dissipate quickly. Look for burners with a deeper dish and a little more distance between the heat source and the wax. (The ideal distance is around 10cm between the wax melt well and 4-hour tea light)

Material: Some materials retain heat better than others. A ceramic burner, for example, might hold heat longer than a metal one, potentially affecting fragrance release.

3. Wax Melt Quality:

Fragrance Load: High-quality wax melts contain a higher concentration of fragrance oil. This means they'll generally last longer than cheaper melts with less fragrance. Check out our reviews as we are constantly receiving 5* reviews for our strong wax melts.

Wax Type: Different waxes hold and release fragrance differently. Soy wax, for example, is known for its good scent throw and relatively clean burn.

4. Storage:

Cool, Dark Place: Store your wax melts in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat. Heat can cause the fragrance to burn away even when the wax melt isn't being used.

5. Other Tips:

Scent Rotation: Try rotating between different scents. Sometimes using the same fragrance all of the time you can become "nose blind" meaning you may feel like the fragrance is weakening when it isn't.

Notice your Blissful Moments wax melt isn't smelling as strong as it used to? After 3-4 uses, most wax melts will begin to lose their fragrance, as the majority of the scent has been released. This is perfectly normal!

Because our wax melts are made with eco-friendly soy wax, disposing of them is easy and environmentally conscious. Soy wax is biodegradable, breaking down naturally in 4-6 weeks. When your wax melt is finished, simply discard it in your regular trash bin. It will safely biodegrade over time.
